Steel Pipe & Watermain

Engineered Steel Water Pipe

Our steel pipe is designed and manufactured to the custom requirements of a project and in accordance with American Water Works Association with the latest editions of AWWA C200, AWWA M11 Steel Pipe Design Guidelines and other applicable standards.  Steel pipe is considered one of the most versatile and convenient types of pipe.

Joint Design

Due to steel pipes versatility, we are able to manufacture a wide range of joint designs to better suit project requirements.

Linings & Coatings

Water Transmission steel pipelines can also feature the use of protective linings and coatings to prevent corrosion, achieve longer lifespans and ensure safe water transportation.

Cement Mortar Lining

Cement mortar lining is manufactured in accordance with AWWA C205 specifications by centrifugally spinning a cement mortar mixture into the pipe’s interior surface to create a dense, smooth, uniform surface.

High density cement linings have an extremely low absorbtion rate preventing the constant flow and oxygen to the substrate, preventing the surface from corrosion. This not only protects the steel pipe wall, it adds stiffness to the pipe to resist external load pressures and deflection.

Cement mortar lining also has the ability to heal itself through autogenous healing

Polyurethane Lining

Polyurethane lining is applied at various thicknesses in accordance with AWWA C222 and provides an excellent corrosion barrier by preventing moisture flow through the film and further preventing corrosion of the substrate or pipe wall. Polyurethane lining is tough, resilient, and extremely abrasion-resistant, making it an ideal lining choice for higher internal velocities.

Liquid Epoxy Lining

Liquid epoxy lining is applied in accordance with AWWA C3210. The epoxy is usually applied using a airless sprayer or brush application to create a smooth finish.

Epoxy lining prevents pipe corrosion by creating an impermeable barrier between the steel surface and the water.
